Paul Cernak, 64, Dies; Was Fuel Oil Dealer
Hatfield - Paul Cernak, 64, of 14 Chestnut St., died in Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton, Friday morning.
He was born here Nov. 6 1902, the son of John and Christine (Sunec) Cernak, and had lived here most of his life. He was a fuel oil dealer. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Anna (Fusek) Cernak; son, Robert P of Florence; seven brothers, John of Westhampton, Samuel, Daniel, Michael, George and Charles, all of Easthampton, and Edward of Westfield; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dickinson of Waterford, Conn., Mrs. Olga Hathaway of Westhampton and Mrs. Anna Mercer and Miss Sue Cernak, both of Easthampton.
The funeral will be Sunday at 1.15 at Charles R Dutton funeral home, Northampton, with services in St. John’s Lutheran Church, this town, at 2. Rev. Kenneth Michnay of Stafford Springs will officiate. Burial will be in Main St. Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
