He was born September 13, 1909 on the old homestead east of Didsbury where he resided all his life.
He was united in marriage to Miss Hannah Hamm on March 28, 1935 and they shared both joys and sorrows for 37 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Hannah and three children: Mildred and Ernest Wiens, Calgary; Mervin and Ruth Neufeld, Didsbury; Gerald and Margaret Neufeld, Rosemary, Alberta; one brother, Mr. C. G. Neufeld, Didsbury, Alberta and six sisters: Mrs. Lena Dyck, Mission City, B.C.; Mrs. Agatha Epp, Langham, Sask.; Mrs. Mae Klassen, Mission City, B.C.; Miss Agnes Neufeld, Rosthern, Sask.; Mrs. Susie Harder, Clearbrook, B.C. and Mrs. Eva Kehtler, Mission City, B.C.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Neufeld and by three brothers, Abram, Jacob and George, all of Didsbury. He was predeceased as well by one sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dyck of Carstairs.
Mr. Neufeld received his public school education in the New Bergthal School and then attended Rosthern Junior College at Rosthern, Sask. He graduated from Mountain View Bible School in Didsbury and also attended the Herbert Bible School at Herbert, Sask.
The last three years he served under the Alberta Mennonite Conference Mission Board as Itinerate Minister.
