Leona graduated from Lincoln High School. She married James C. LeRiche in 1939. They made their home in Lincoln and were the parents to one beautiful daughter Kay Ellen.
She was employed by Boyden Pharmacy, managed the Dotty Dunn Hat Shop, worked fro Gold and Company for 18 years, and member and president, of the United Methodist Women's group. Leona was a long time member of the Everett Neighborhood Association and the Mayors Round Table for the Vision Impaired.
