Karl Brachmann

Karl Brachmann, 67, of 4441 S. 12th St., died at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, Monday evening following a brief illness.

He was born April 5, 1910 in Caterbere, Germany, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Friedrich Brachmann. He attended school in Germany and moved to Cozad, Neb. at the age of 19.

On Oct. 22, 1930, Mr. Brachmann married Miss Mildred Cronin in Cozad, Neb. The couple moved to Sheboygan in 1935. Mrs. Brachmann died in 1956.

On Mar. 12, 1971 he married Mrs. Clarice Menzer at Prior Lake, Minn.

Mr. Brachmann was employed at Kohler Co. for 34 years until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Richard of Rt. 3, Sheboygan and Kenneth of Prior Lake, Minn.; six grandchildren, and two brothers and one sister in Germany.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Anacker, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Wilson, officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday until time of services on Thursday.

A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Brachmann's name.
