Age 84. Passed away Sept. 26, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in Racine, Dec. 1, 1864 and had been a life long resident here. Mr. Zirbes had been a mailman for 35 years until his retirement 20 years ago. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Holy Name Society. He is survived by one daughter, Isabel and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Raymond M. Zirbes, both of Racine; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Rost of Alhambra, Calif.; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 8:30 am at the Maresh Funeral Home, Main at Eighth St. and 9 am at St. Patrick's Church, Rev. Louis Zirbes, a nephew officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may cll at the funeral home after 3 pm on Tuesday and until time of services on Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home 8:15 pm Tuesday.
