Mrs. Margaret Zirbes, 73, wife of Joseph Zirbes, 1322 Erie street, died Monday afternoon in St. Mary's hospital.

Mrs. Zirbes was born in County Clare, Ireland, May 2, 1870, and had lived here 60 years. Mr. and Mrs. Zirbes celebrated the 53rd anniversary of their marriage on May 27. She was a member of St. Patrick's church.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Isabel; one son, Raymond; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Carr, Milwaukee, Mrs. Catherine Harrrington, Beloit, Mr. Delia Kelly, San Jose, Calif., one brother, John Doyle of Racine.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in the Maresh funeral home, and at 9 o'clock in St. Patrick's church, with Rev. J.P. Hurst officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call from Wednesday noon until service time at the Maresh home. The rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m.
