Mr. Burns was a member of the Danville Church of Christ and Coleman Avenue Church of Christ. Freddie was well know for his music, and started a popular group know as "Freddie Boy Burns and his Ranch Boys".
He is preceded in death by his wife of over 64 years, Virginia Rone Burns; five sisters, and two brothers. Freddie is survived by five nieces; Virginia Ann Shipman, Patricia Benjamin, Marie Durham, Margie Potts and Jeanne Potts; and by a host of other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Hal and Jean Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Danville Church of Christ, Biggersville, MS.
