Jack Dutenhafer, 57, died Monday at his home.

He was born September 25, 1923 at Rugby. He was raised in Rugby and Knox, and married Delores Hager on February 16, 1953 in Rugby. They lived in Rugby, Drake, and Carrington before coming to Minot in 1957.

Jack worked at Woodman Accident and Life Company, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minot. Since 1968, he was a rural mail carrier for the Minot Post Office.

He was a member of Minot Knights of Columbus Council 4894, a doorman at the KC Club, Minot Eagles Aerie, William G. Carroll Post of the American Legion, and St. Leo's Church.

Survivors: wife; sons, Jason, Jamestown, Wayne, Terry, and Bruce all of Minot; daughter, Peggy(Anthony) Prough, Minot; four grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Barbara Dutenhafer, Rugby; sisters, Mrs. Ben Nett, Minot, Mrs. William Huene, Mrs. Ann Johnson, and Mrs. Robert Beaver, all of Rockford, Illinois, Mrs. Howard Ingraham and Mrs. Ralph Jasper, both of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Bernadine Brandon, Corpus Christi, Texas, Mrs. Robert Byerly, Modesto, California, and Mrs. Kay Bost, Phoenix, Arizona; brothers, Joe, John, Jerry, and Francis(Fritz), all of Rockford, Illinois.

Funeral services were held Friday at St. Leo's Catholic Church of Minot.
