Mrs Sophia Elizabeth Hermann, 72, of 1518 St Clair Avenue, passed away today following a lingering illness.
Nee Fellinger, she was born March 18, 1880 in German Volga, Russia the daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Andrew Fellinger.
She attended schools in Russia and in 1900 was married in Russia to Christ, the couple had 9 children together.
The couple came to American in 1912, settling in Sheboygan.
1942 her husband passed away in Sheboygan.
Survivors are 2 daughters Mrs Fred (Natalie) Splinter and Miss Frieda Hermann of Sheboygan, 7 sons; Gottlieb, Christ, Alex, Frederick, John, Arthur and Walter; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Ballhorn Funeral Chapel. Rev Carl Schulz will officiate and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Sunday evening until the of of service.
