Lorraine Marie Waller of Richfield, Minnesota, passed away on July 9th, 2016 at the age of 100. Born in Minneapolis on May 4th, 1916 to Charles and Jennie (Berg) Merz. She attended Roosevelt High School and was married to Virgil Waller in 1937. Together they had two children, Tom and Lynn, raising their family in Richfield. Lorraine worked at the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis. She was a faithful member of Berea Lutheran Church in Richfield, volunteering weekly in the church office for twenty years and helped provide homemade meals for the annual church dinners. Lorraine was an avid gardener and a loyal Twins and Vikings fan. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Jennie Merz, husband Virgil Waller, brother Robert Merz, granddaughter Shelly and great-granddaughter Harper. She is survived by son Thomas and daughter Lynn and their spouses, grandchildren Jenny, Dan, Kristen and David, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, special nieces, nephew and cousin.
