Nellie Delemater, 97, of Round Rock, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016. Born on January 27, 1919, in Bastrop County, Texas, Nellie was the daughter of George Jacob Klaus and Juliana Schulte Klaus. On her birthday, January 27, 1938, Nellie married Roy Delemater in Austin, Texas. Roy preceded Nellie in death on March 10, 1993. Roy and Nellie had one son, Lee Brian Delemater who passed away on June 29, 1975. Nellie was also preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by one granddaughter, Terri Pinget and husband, James, of Round Rock; two great-grandsons, Chandler Nelson and Chad Nelson; one great-great-grandson, Ziggy Nelson, and several nieces and nephews. Nellie was a beautiful lady with a big heart who loved her family deeply. Her greatest companion was her little dog, CeeCee, whom she adored. Over the years she made many friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family would like to express their appreciation to all the staff of Harbor Hospice and to all the caregivers of Park Place Health Care Center in Georgetown, Texas. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home at 6100 North Lamar in Austin. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the Austin Memorial Park on 2800 Hancock Drive in Austin.
