Funeral services were at St Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Shumway, Illinois. Burial was in St Mary's Church cemetery. Visitation was at the Hall's Funeral Chapel, Effingham, illinois.
Mrs. Sloan was born July 28, 1951, Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Clem and Catherine Bloemer Doedtman. She married Thomas J. Sloan on January 4, 1969 St mary Help of Christians Church, Green Creek, Illinois. Pat was a member of St Mary of the Annunciation Catholic, Shumway, Illinois, and the Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Thomas Sloan,Beecher City, Illinois; four children, John (Shelle) Sloan, Beecher City, Illinois; Paul (Shannon) Sloan, Beecher City, Illinois; Melissa (Andy) Finke, Beecher City, Illinois; Angie (Sean) Solorzano, Clarksville, Tennessee; brothers, Charles Doedtman, Green Creek, Illinois; Roger Doedtman, Effingham, Illinois; Bernard Doedtman, Effingham, Illinois; sister, judy (Dave) Carroll, Beecher City, Illinois;grandchildren, Brandon and Breonna Solorzano and Caitlin and Abby Sloan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marcia Runde, and niece, Pauletta Carroll.
