Marcia A. Runde, 58, died at 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at her home in Teutopolis, surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis followed by a celebration at Teutopolis Grade School. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society. Bauer Funeral Home in Teutopolis is handling arrangements.

Marcia was born February 27, 1953 in Effingham, the daughter of Clem and Catherine (Bloemer) Doedtman. She married John H. Runde on May 4, 1985.

She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis and the St. Francis Council of Catholic Women.

Marcia is survived by her husband, John; two sons, John L. of St. Louis, MO and Russ of Teutopolis; one daughter, Gina of St. Louis, MO; three brothers, Charles, Roger and Bernard (Marie) all of Effingham; two sisters, Judy (David) Carroll and Patricia (Thomas) Sloan both of Beecher City.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one niece, Pauletta Carroll.
