Survivors include her loving husband, John F. Luby, III; her daughter, Angelle Renee Stokes; her step-sons, Jacob Luby and Mark Luby; her mother, Gloria "Angel" Braun; her sister, Karen E. Braun; her brothers, Mark Braun and Byron Braun; her Godchild, Lauren E. Tylock; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, William B. Braun.
A resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for most of her life, Kim was born on May 3, 1964. She graduated from Cathedral Carmel High School in 1982 and received a B.S. in Finance from USL. Kim worked in Home Health for 11 years, specializing in Marketing. Kim had a passion for decorating and interior design. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, sister and daughter. Kim was a very gentle spirited person, who always found the goodness in everyone. She was always positive and uncomplaining, even during her fight with cancer. Her vibrant personality and great sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
