Johanna Dexheimer
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, in St. Peter's Catholic Church for Johanna Dexheimer, who died Oct. 10 at age 86. Recitation of the rosary will precede the Mass at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Dexheimer was born Jan. 31, 1914, in Towner, N.D. Her maiden name was Wald. She owned a bakery in North Dakota before moving in 1959 to Portland, where she was a cook for Fairlawn Care Center for 16 years. She retired in 1974.

She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

In 1934, she married Anthony Dexheimer; he died in 1972.

Survivors include her daughters, Arlene Maston and Donna Smith; sons, Duane and Jerry; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Her son Leo and daughter Irene died in infancy, and her daughter Deanna died in 1989.

Interment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
