Harold Printz
Harold L Printz, 77, of Greeley died Thursday, Sept 27, at the Hospice of Northern Colorado inpatient unit.
He was born May 4, 1924, in La Salle to Mitchell and Mary (Stroh) Printz.
On Aug 8, 1946, he married Edna Turner in Greeley.
Mr. Printz received a Purple Heart and the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with One Bronze Star while serving in the Army during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Printz worked as a farmer all of his life and loved gardening, fishing, and flowers. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
Survivors are his wife, Edna Printz of Greeley; two daughters, Linda May Damewood of La Salle and Cynthia Joy Sweigard of Greeley; two sons, Harry Mitchell Printz and Harold Roy Printz, both of Greeley; five sisters, Lillian McLauglian of Prescott, Ariz., Betty Keiss of Greeley, Clara Lynn of California, Rosie McLauglian of Golden and Mary Ann Fiest of Denver; three brothers, Harvey Printz and Herman Printz, both of Greeley, and Walter Printz; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. His parents, two sisters and a brother are deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Adamson Memorial West Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit from noon-6 p.m. Monday at the West Chapel.
