This beautiful complex woman was fiercely devoted to her 6 children, (withheld), her 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren.
She was a single mother in a time when it was nearly impossible to earn a decent living. With much difficulty, she became a nurse to better support her children. She loved to garden. Her roses were always beautiful, especially her favorite yellow roses. She was a superb cook and taught all her children and many of her grandchildren to make the wonderful German and Russian dishes she grew up with. Her baclava was incomparable! Her favorite pastime was accompanying her children and grandchildren to Blackhawk and Las Vegas. She was fierce on the nickel slot machines and always won!
She is survived by her sisters, (withheld), her brothers (withheld), her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Theresa, and granddaughter Mary.
A memorial service to celebrate Rosie's life will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado. Inurnment will follow at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley.
