Wilma Marie Daniels passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Bethany Home in Lindsborg, Kansas at the age of 89. She was born April 17, 1927 on a farm south of Dorrance, Kansas to the late Andrew and Lea (Heinze) Feil. She graduated from Wilson High School, in Wilson, Kansas, with the Class of 1945. She began teaching at Sunflower country school where she met her future husband, who was serving on the school board.

On August 6, 1947 Wilma was united in marriage to Melbourn Daniels in Wilson. They were blessed with three daughters. As her family grew, she became an avid seamstress, making many dresses including prom, wedding, and bridesmaid dresses. She was also an excellent cook, being especially well known for her bierocks, cinnamon rolls, and green bean and dumpling soup. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran church in Wilson where she served on the Church Council, taught Sunday School, and helped make many quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

Wilma is survived by daughters Joy Everhart and husband Shannon, and Faith Nilhas; sister June Dolezal; five grandchildren Shana Everhart, David Everhart and wife Kristin, Amy Lewis and husband Mike, Blake Nilhas and wife Erin, and Morgan Nilhas; and seven great-grandchildren, Brenna Flax, Braden Lewis, Ryann Lewis, Dylan Everhart, Jack Everhart, Drew Everhart, and Cooper Everhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Lea Feil, husband Melbourn Daniels, three brothers, and daughter Honor Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wilson. There will be no public visitation.
