Leonard and Christina were the parents of four children known, in birth order, Joseph b 25 Apr 1829, Anna Maria b 29 Apr 1832, Barbara b 2 Feb 1835 d 9 Feb 1835 and Barbara b 22 May 1836. Joseph, Anna Maria and Barbara emigrated from Germany and were among the early settlers in Johnsburg, McHenry County, Illinois. Anna Maria and Barbara later moved to and settled in Wright County, Minnesota ~
