Dr. Kurt Hamburger Dies
Dr. Kurt Hamburger, 67 of West Landis Ave. died early this morning en route to Newcomb Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born in Germany, he arrived 20 years ago today in the United States from a brief stay in Haiti during World War II. He was a resistered dental surgeon, Dr. Hamburger operated a poultry farm here prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Gisela; his daughter, Mrs. Ruth Hirsh of New York; one granddaughter, and his brother, Manfred of New Almond St.
Funeral arrangements are being made for tomorrow at the Potter Funeral Home.
Shiva will be observed at Dr, Hamburger's late residence.
