Edward married w/ the surname as Haga which is the correct spelling of his name. Some of the Haga kids went by Haga and some by Hagen.

Edward G. (Hooley) Hagen, 70, died Saturday. Born October 23, 1901 in Ellensburg; he married Elma Kay in 1925 in Ellensburg. He was a haybaler and logger for many years. Lived in Cove District until 1942 when they moved to Ellensburg. They made their home at 116 Elliott. He was a member of Eagles Lodge.

Survived by wife at home, three sons--Marvin, Seattle, Melvin Ellensburg, and Vern of Bellevue; one daughter Mrs. Charlene Stone, Seattle; eight grandchildren.

Funeral at Evensons, Tuesday, 11 a.m., with the Rev. Roland Wittrock officiating. Burial at High Valley Memorial Gardens. Family suggests memorials to heart fund, in care of Mrs. Frank Green, 913 E. Washington.
