Born into a Jewish family of artists, this classically trained actor and dancer's career started in a small cabaret operated by his father and uncle. He performed in many theatrical venues in Vienna and Paris before coming to live in the US in the early 1960s. He was known professionally as 'Reggie Nalder', a name he adapted for obvious reasons during the war years. He had been using the stage name 'Reggie' since 1937 (perhaps earlier), although his full birth name was simply 'Alfred Natzler'.
A role that brought him recognition was his portrayal of the Albert Hall assassin in Alfred Hitchcock's 1956 remake of "The Man Who Knew Too Much". He is buried with his mother Ida.
It should be noted that despite the cross on the headstone, the family never converted to Christianity; Per cemetery rules, a cross must be embellished on every grave.

Actor. He is best remembered for his horror films.
