Benjamin Janson, a long time resident of West Harrison, passed away on November 15, 2014. He was 74 years old. Benjamin was born on August 17, 1940 in Port chester to Benjamin & Marie (Vaccaro) Janson, and beloved husband to Theresa (Stolfi) Janson of 41 years. He is also survived by his 3 daughters, Kimberly (Thomas) DiMarino, Valerie (Joseph) Arcara, and Deborah (Anthony) Macchia and his 5 grandchildren, Daniela & Juliana DiMarino, Joseph and Benjamin Arcara and Anthony Macchia. Ben was stationed in Germany while serving in the army from 1957 to 1960. He was a proud teamster and member of the American Legion. Always a loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be truly missed by all who knew him. Visiting will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook.
