I was puzzled by the "Jahre" (years, plural), and in the grave photos, the "1" looks more like a "4". A Peter Alig was born to Conrad Alig and Mary Kuhn on 21 Dec 1876. If this child died on 11 Nov 1881, his age would have been recorded as 4 years (Jahre) 10 months and about 19 days, which seems to be what is on the marker.

The 1998 cemetery roster by Russell and Janet Winkler identifies this grave site as that of Peter Alig, who died at age 1 yr 10 mo on 11 Nov 1881. However, I think it's actually 4 yr 10 mo.
