Peter Fruth, aged 48 years a well-known resident of the West Side, died very unexpectedly at about 4 o'clock Saturday morning. Mr. Fruth resided with his family at 26 South Mill street and went about his work as a driver for the Consumers' Brewing Company as usual on Friday.
Mrs. Fruth was awakened shortly before 4 o'clock by the labored breathing of her husband. She sent for a physician, but before the doctor arrived, Mr. Fruth had died.
Deceased was born her January 1, 1859, and was married to Miss Appollonia Vogel.
Besides his widow, he leaves one daughter:
Miss Lillian Fruth
... and one sister, Mrs. Christina Junghaene.
He was a member of the Brewers' Union and the Knights and Ladies of Security. The funeral takes place at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
