Cory Palazzi, 10, of New Kensington, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, in Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 31, 1993, in New Kensington, a son of Carl and Peggy Heuer Palazzi, of New Kensington.

Cory, who was a loving and giving child, was a fourth-grade student at Mary Queen of Apostles School, New Kensington. He enjoyed school, friends, his family, Gameboy and video games. He was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his 6-year-old brother, Dylan Palazzi, at home; paternal grandmother, Ramona Palazzi, of New Kensington; maternal grandmother, Betty Heuer, of Penn Hills; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Gerald Palazzi, and maternal grandfather, Robert Heuer.

Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the GIUNTA FUNERAL HOME, Arnold. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. A Christian funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington.

Burial in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
