George Helgert, Aged 77, Died Yesterday at Son's Home
Lived Here 44 Years
George Helgert, aged 77 years, one of the best known citizens in Natrona died yesterday. He lived in Natrona for 44 years. He was born in Germany December 8, 1839, and came to this country when quite young.
Mr. Helgert was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic church. He leaves nine children as follows: Joseph, of Birdville; John, of Natrona; George, of Birdville; Charles of New Kensington; Michael, of Saltsburg; Mrs. William Gearhart of Brackenridge; Mrs. Harry Anderson, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. John Hetrick of Birdville, and Mrs. Heran [Herman] Kindler, of Creighton.
Thirty grand children and seven great grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the home of George Helgert in Birdville. Internment will take place in St. Joseph's cemetery.
