She was born in Lacktorps fors, but I don't know where that is. Her husband changed his name to Sandquist after emigrating to the US in 1888. She followed with 2 of their 9 children plus her oldest son's fiancee in 1901 and they settled in Concord, NH. 2 daughters remained in Sweden and other children emigrated in 1902, 1903 and 1904. Their last child was born in New Hampshire. Karl and Mathilda (Anglicized to Carl and Matilda) are buried with Martin and Charlotte and 6 of their 14 children.
