John was born November 11, 1946, in River Rouge, MI; the son of Vincent and Yvonne Spampinato.
John is the beloved husband of 15 years of Cherie. Father of Vince (Lorena) Spampinato, Gina Spampinato, Dina Spampinato, Jamie Latona and Stacey Latona. Grandfather of Giovanni Spampinato, Rocco Spampinato, Bradd Cluckey, Olivia Mirecki and Sydney Gayman, Cameron Gayma. Great grandfather of R.J. Martin and godfather of Roberto Bomba. Brother of Tony Spampinato, Anne Marie Sauve, Connie Spampinato and Laura Piwko.
John's family will receive guests at the funeral home on Sunday, April 23, from 2-8 pm. A funeral Mass has been scheduled on Sunday, April 24, for 12:30 pm, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (23815 Power Rd, Farmington). John will be interred following Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Southfield, Michigan.
