Shirley L. Diller, 82, of Port Huron Twp., passed away on April 9, 2017 after a short illness with her family by her side.
She was born on September 18, 1934 in Port Huron, daughter of the late Henry and Ida Langolf.
Shirley was a 1967-1968 graduate of St. Clair County Community College from the LPN program and was a 30 year Port Huron Hospital employee. She took great pride in all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley enjoyed working outside with her flowers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Jhonna) Diller of Las Vegas; son and daughter-in-law, Robin (Cindy) Diller of Casco Twp.; son and daughter-in-law, Jody (Annette) Diller of Illinois; daughter and son-in-law, Angela (William) Meeks 0f Clyde; son, Jeffrey Diller of St. Clair; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth DeJonge of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherily Louise Diller in 1958; one brother and two sisters.
Visitation hours will be held Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron.
Private family committal services will take place.
Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
