Of RR1, Deseronto died at the Napanee hospital at age 86 yrs. The son of John Barnhart & Anne Moses of Tyendinaga, he lived all of his life in the area. He married twice, to the late Martha Maracle and to Alice Bardy. He is survived by 3 step children, Mrs. Perle Green & Raymond Brant , both of Deseronto, & Cameron Brant of Syracuse, N.Y. His brother Charles Barnhart lives on RR1 Deeseronto, & his 2 sisters, Mrs. Marie Bednarz, Florida, & Mrs. Sarah Jaynes, Oklahoma City, U.S.A. He was a carpenter by trade & attended the Mohawk Pentecostal Church. The funeral service was officiated by Rev. Fred Futers. Interment In the Mohawk Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eldon O'Toole, Fred Hawley, Leslie Sagar, Willard Hill, Thomas & Donald Maracle.
