Annette Threlkeld is the daughter of William Logan Threlkeld and Louise Vaden. She was married to Louis Vosteen.

OBITUARY: "Daily Press," Newport News, Virginia, July 6, 2016
WILLIAMSBURG - Annette Threlkeld Vosteen, age 85, died peacefully at home on July 1, 2016, following a lengthy illness. She was born and grew up in Blacksburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Logan Threlkeld and Louise Vaden Threlkeld and a brother, William L. Threlkeld, Jr. She is survived by a sister, Sallie E. Wesaw, of Riverton, WY, her husband, Louis, her three sons, Marshall (Ann Dimiero), David (Clare Erickson), and Paul (Maguerite Hall) and eight grandchildren: Vanessa, Jane Clare, Kegan, Katrina, Vaden, Stryker-Ann, Moriah, and Wils. Annette was a graduate of Shorter College, Rome, GA with majors in art and education. She taught in elementary schools in Norfolk, Hampton, and Williamsburg-James City County and also spent many hours volunteering in the Williamsburg-James City schools. Annette served on the boards of the Williamsburg United Way, Williamsburg Community Center and the Williamsburg Music Club. She was active in the PTAs of all the schools her children attended and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. The family wishes to thank the aides who helped to care for her over the past four years: Olga Albright, Gloria Brown, Bonita Head, Valerie McCandless and Cathy Moorecock and the excellent nursing staff of Sentara Hospice Care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 2:00P.M. at Stone House Presbyterian Church, 9401 Fieldstone Parkway, Toano, VA 23168. For those wishing to honor Annette's memory with a memorial gift, the family suggests contributions to the Williamsburg Music Club Endowment Fund, PO Box 1808, Williamsburg VA, 23187.
