Age 85. Passed away June 1, 1969 in Ashland, Ore. Mr. Graf was a former Union Grove resident for a number of years and had attended the Assembly of God Church in Union Grove. Surviving are his wife, Mable; six sons and three daughters, Alex of Dallas, Texas, John of Phoenix, Ariz., David of Franksville, Mrs. Arnold (Pauline) Hansen of Union Grove, Paul of San Antonio, Texas, Edwin of Milwaukee, Mrs. Frank Kupferschmidt, of St. Francis, Wis., Mrs. John Russell of Waukeny, Kansas, Victor of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; also daughters-in-law; sons-in-law; 33 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; other relatives. Preceding him in death were his first wife, Katherine in 1951 and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Palmer and Mrs. Molly Borgert, both in 1960. Funeral services were held in Ashland, Ore. Interment will be in the Union Grove Cemetery with graveside services Thursday, June 5, 1 p.m. Rev. Walter Anderson officiating.

Funeral services for Alex Graff, 85, who died at his home 455 B St., Ashland, Sunday, will be held in the Conger-Morris Ashland Mortuary Chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Wayne Tood, of the Foursquare Gospel Church, officiating. Committal will be in Union Grove, Wisc. Mr. Graf was born in New Wemiar, Russia, Sept 4, 1883, and received his citizenship in 1937. He had made his home in Ashland since 1953. On Nov. 16, 1955, in Ashland, he was married to Mabel McLane, who survives him. Also surviving are nine children, John Graf, Phoenix, Ariz., Alex Graf, Dallas, Tex., Dave Graf, Franksville, Wis., Edward Graf, Germantown, Wis., Victor Graf, Milwaukee, Wis., Paul Graf, San Antonio, Tex., Mrs. Pauline Hansen, Union Grove, Wis., Mrs. Emma Cooperschmidt, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Esther Russell, Wakeeney, Kan.; 33 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, three stepsons, three stepdaughters; nine step-grandchildren; and four great grand step-children.
