MRS. FEIGENSPAN, 74, ILL FOR MANY MONTHS
Dies in Home After Suffering Stroke of Paralysis Two Weeks Ago.

Mrs. Christina Feigenspan died at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday evening in her home, 812 Payson avenue. She had been in poor health for the last year and suffered a stroke of paralysis about two weeks ago.

She was born in Muehlhausen, Prussia, May 30, 1842, and would of been 74 years old her next birthday. She came to Quincy with her parents, John M. Perz and Catharina Elizabeth Nippold Perz, in 1848. On May 28, 1861* she was married to Gustave G. Feigenspan. She was an active member of the First German Methodist church and a member of the Ladies' Aid society of which she was secretary for 30 years, and held the office up to the time of her death.

Mrs. Feigenspan was a woman of lovable character and was held in high esteem by her many friends She leaves four children, Attorney William G Feigenspan, Amalia Feigenspan and Dora Feigenspan, of Quincy, and Eva Altenhein of Ellington. She also leaves a granddaughter, Marguerite Altenhein and a brother, John M. Perz, of Keokuk, Ia.
