Theresa DeCelles-Delorme was a member of the Grosventre tribe at Ft. Belknap, Montana and the daughter of Thomas August and Nancy Susan Adams DeCelles. She was born at the DeCelles ranch, that started with a log cabin built by her grandfather Matthew Adams. She had four sisters and six brothers. Theresa grew up on the ranch but she also attended the Chemawa Indian boarding school in Salem, Oregon.

On March 10th, 1943 she joined Alfred Martin Delorme in holy matrimony in Neosho, Newton Co. Missouri. They bought/built a home in Harlem. She worked at the Fort Belknap Agency until she retired. She and Fred loved to fish and spend time with their many nieces and nephews. They always welcomed family and friends into their home and were loved by all. Theresa outlived all of her siblings. And almost made it to 100. But the Lord knew she was tired and longed to be with her family on the other side of the veil. Rest in peace aunt Theresa, til we meet again in paradise! We love and miss you,
your many nieces and nephews!
