WIRTZ, Delores M. (Age 85) Born October 22, 1923 in Ogema, MN; passed away October 6, 2009 in Spokane. Delores was a resident of Spokane for 43 years and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She loved her family and her chocolate chip cookies were legendary.
She is survived by her sons: Ken (Rita) Wirtz, Dick (Linda) Wirtz, Larry (Becky) Wirtz, Bob (Lori) Wirtz; daughter-in-law, Shirley Wirtz; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Charlotte (George ) Groth and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Vincent Wirtz; son, Jim Wirtz; three sisters and six brothers including her twin brother, Douglas Haverkamp.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 9, at 11:00 a.m..at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4420 N. Jefferson. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
