William James Haverkamp, 66, Ogema, Minn., died Thursday, June 20, 2002, in
his home.

Mr. Haverkamp was born Oct. 3, 1935, near Ogema, where he grew up and attended
school. He worked on the family farm and for the Ice House in Detroit Lakes,
Minn., during the winter months. He also worked for Tony Molacek building
grain elevators. On Feb. 4, 1961, he married Lucille Andersen in Ogema. He
farmed in the Ogema area for many years.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Robert (Sandi), Tim, John, all Ogema;
two daughters, Theresa (Jerry) Fossen, White Earth, Minn., Karen Haverkamp,
Detroit Lakes; a brother, Douglas (Isabelle), Othello, Wash.; two sisters,
Delores Wirtz, Charlotte (George) Groth, both Spokane, Wash.; and nine
grandchildren.

Visitation: Monday from 5-8, with a prayer service at 7, and Tuesday from
10-11 in Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Ogema.

Funeral: Tuesday at 11 in the church. Burial: Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, Ogema.
