A letter was found in the Churchbook for Mosbach, LDS 0948286 - Katholische Kirche Mosbach (Kr. Dieburg), which was translated as follows:
This is an affidavit dated 30 Jan 1849, at Aschaffenburg, that the Priest of St Agatha's married the couple on 23 Jan. 1849. The couple were Georg Petry from Mosbach and the single Rosina Koelbel, legitimate daughter of Johann Koelbel, citizen in Damm, and his wife, Eva born Freund[Rosina] born the 3rd Jan. 1821 in Damm.
Witnesses to the marriage were:
Johann Koelbel, citizen in Damm and
Melchior Franz Petry, residing in Mosbach
