On the 24th day of February, 1801, in Mosbach, on the same day of her birth, I baptized Susanna, the legitimate daughter of Leonard Petry resident in the same place and his wife, Maria Gloss. The child was held in the sacred font by Susanna Zahrin and Leonardi Zahn sister of the mother, residents here.

Mosbach - April 16, 1826, following the publication of banns, the respectable young man, Joseph, who was born as the legitimate son of the married couple Johan George Joseph Riel, an inhabitent of Mosbach, and Anna Eva born Hockin, was married to the honorable virgin Susana, who is the legitimate daughter of Leonard Petry, resident of Mosbach and Eva born Gloss in the presence of the witnesses George Joseph Riel father of the groom and Johan George Hock resident and innkeeper of Mosbach.

Ship Name: Pheonix - Port of Departure: Bremen - Port of Arrival: Baltimore - Date of Arrival: Aug 2, 1834. a copy of the manifest from the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana showed the following names on page 4:

I found her name, Susanna Petri, and that of her husband, Joseph Rill, in the Cemetery record for Francis Xavier Rill. It listed the names of his Parents. The information came from material gathered by the Montgomery County Genealogical Society - P. O. Box 212, Litchfield, Illinois 62056-0212.

Block 63: Rill, Elizabeth Theresa; 1825 - 09 Jul 1913; w/o Francis Rill, nee Schiele. Father Louis Pommer anointed her and gave her communion & left her in the hands of God on Feb.25, 1872.This is in the Church records of St James. It also gives the name of her mother & father, & her husband in past tense.
In her death record, recorded in St James records Milstadt, the names of her parents match with the ones found on Wilhelm Petry's baptism record from 1822. She is the older Sister of Wilhelm.
