ELOY — Henrietta Guerrero Diaz, 79, died peacefully on July 3, 2017, at Lita Caring Home in Casa Grande.

Mrs. Diaz was born on Nov. 1, 1937, in Nixon, Texas, a daughter of Juan and Maria Guerrero and granddaughter of Jose and Isabel Medrano. A longtime resident of Eloy, she retired after being a supervisor at the Thomson Co. plant and a pharmacy technician at Jerry's Pharmacy.
In addition to raising six children, she loved singing in her church mariachi group, helping the community and working as a volunteer at Community Action Human Resources Agency's food bank. She loved the outdoors and attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Ursula and Andrea; two sons, Paul and Frank; a brother, Arturo; a sister, Petra; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo, and five children, Gabriel, Natividad, Mareita, Robert and Laura.
Rosary recited at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 20, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia.
