Nick Platsko, age 92 years, passed away at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Sophie (Rekuta) Platsko and the father of the late Elizabeth Platsko, Sydor and Judy Platsko, Patricia and Dr. Robert Stewart, Tom and Nancy Platsko. Loving grandfather of Laura and Klaus Bross, Deborah and Jason Durand, Jeremy Stewart, Jennifer and Peter Infelice, Amber Platsko and great grandfather of Tyler and Benjamin Bross, Alexia and Kylah Durand. Dear brother of John and Mary Platsko. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Predeceased by brothers, Harry Platsko and Mike Platsko and sisters, Sophie Prokopchuk and Annie Maksymiak.
Nick was a member of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church for over 50 years, he was President of the Church for over 30 years and was a Commissioner for the West Marsh Drainage Scheme for 20 years.
