Funeral services for Aaron H. Roeber, 88, of Route 1, Eldorado, will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac.

The Rev. Martin Koehler will officiate. Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 p.m. to the time of services.

Mr. Roeber died Monday, Sept. 29, 1986, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 14, 1897, to William H. and Emma Rothe Roeber in Germantown. On Aug. 14, 1925, he married Marie Schaefer. He was employed by the Soo Line Railroad, retiring in 1968, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Survivors include three sons, John of Covington, Ky., Richard of Sheboygan Falls and Donald of Glendale, Ariz.; one brother, Clarence of Cheyenne, Wyo; one sister, Rose Roeber of Chicago, Ill; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Nov. 3, 1980, one son, two brothers and one sister.
