Please help us honor the life of Ralph Rubar, born 01/19/1930. He passed on 08/31/2017 at Regent Care Center in The Woodlands TX.

As the patriarch of his family, he has supported many of us through our lives. He was an independent strong man that gave to many throughout his life. The lessons he taught to the many people he touched was to always find a way to carry on with strength, determination, and dignity. He was always the center of everything and loved to make people laugh. If anyone could tell a joke to get a laugh it was him. He is the king of our heart.

He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil E. Rubar, and mother, Clara Inez, and his nephew Cecil A. Rubar Jr.

He is survived by his spouse, Mary K. Rubar; His Son, James Rubar, with grandson Brian Rubar, and 3 great grandchildren Rileigh, Colton, and Alexis; his daughter, Joetta and Art Keller, with grandson Art Jr; his daughter, Donna Withers, with grandson Cory Rubar and granddaughters, Marissa Rubar and Julia Withers, with 2 great grandchildren, Kaydence and Kylen; and his daughter, Debbie and Jimmy Barton, with granddaughter Maranda Daricek. He is, also, survived by an older brother, Cecil A. Rubar, with two nephews, Dennis Rubar and Glen Allen Rubar, and nieces Karen Rubar, Annetta Staff, Cathy Rubar, Pamela Rubar, and Paula Hansen. Many great nephews and nieces. He, also, has a younger sister, Patricia Herling, with nephews, Wayne and Mike Herling, and niece Sharon Wierciszewski, with many great nephews and nieces.

The celebration of life will be held at Tamina Community Building at 19500 Main St, Conroe TX, 77385 on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. The theme is “King of Our Hearts” with the colors being Red and White. We ask all that attend to dress in a party/celebration type attire or casual, nothing somber.

Remember this a celebration of his life. We will serve BBQ dinner
