Thomas Rucker was born in 1733 in Caroline County, Virginia. He was married to Elizabeth Wisdom, the daughter of John Wisdom and Ann Collins. One of their children was my fifth great grandmother,Tabitha Rucker, who married Robert Lloyd. Thomas Rucker is a Daughters of the American Revolution patriot. He furnished supplies to the Continental Army. His mother Elizabeth Reynolds Rucker also is a DAR patriot in that she also furnished supplies to the cause. His father was Thomas Rucker born 1705 died 1763. Thomas Rucker, Jr. was the son of Thomas Rucker, Sr. and Elizabeth Reynolds. He married Elizabeth Wisdom in 1760 in Orange County, Virginia. His children are Tabitha Ann Rucker Lloyd, Sara, Joseph, Frances, Isabel, Nancy, Caty, Elizabeth, James, Mary, Wisdom, Sarah, and George. His grandfather was immigrant, Peter Rucker (1661-1743), a French Huguenot who escaped religious persecution in France.
