Scott Janet Ruediger Scott Born August 30, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN to George & Bernice Ruediger. Died August 6, 2005 in Tucson, AZ. She was a graduate of The College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, MN and had a Smith-Hughes certification from Iowa State University. She taught grades 7-12 in Pine Island, MN until she married Gerald C. Scott, her husband of 50 years. She had a great love of plants and had for many years led weekly work groups as Chairman of the Plant Propagation Committee for the Friends of the University of Michigan Matthai Botanical Gardens. In addition to her husband, Jerry, she is survived by her daughter, Anne (Bruce) Grasberger of Trappe, PA; son, Kevin of Lewisville, TX, Marilyn Evanson of Woodbury, MN and Betty Ziegler of Minnetonka, MN; and their children. Mass of Christian Burial was held August 19 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saline, MI where she lived for the past 35 years. Services entrusted to East Lawn Palms Mortuary.
