Judy Seewald was born in Longmont, CO., February 4, 1921. She spent most of her school years in Texas but returned to Longmont following high school. It was there that she met and married Lawrence Seewald. During their early years, they lived in Ogden, UT and Bremerton, WA, finally settling in Nampa.

They began their family of 3 sons about the time WWII started. Times were tough but Judy was an exceptional mother. After her boys were older she joined the working class. Some of her work included sales, receptionist, secretary and finally her favorite, real estate sales. She continued to give 100% to her family even though working full time. She was very family oriented and always celebrated birthdays and holidays for her family with dinners and gifts.

Lawrence died in 1980 and the family was devastated....but life goes on for the living. In 1983 she moved into a new home and pursued her love of plants, her cats, oil painting and dancing. Ballroom dancing was always her passion.

Judy has always had a youthful appearance and attitude about life. At the age of 78 she bought a Honda sports car which she enjoyed for another 10 years. She was married to Loren Joselyn for a short time in the early 90's. She walked 2 miles every day until she gradually cut back to ½ mile.

Appropriate words to describe her are: giving, trusting, ethical, loving, forgiving, kind, optimistic, naive, reserved, ladylike, attractive, very generous and deeply religious. Her faith in god gave her comfort during her final days. She said that she was ready to "go home" before she died peacefully at home Oct 29, 2017.

Judy is survived by her son Ron Seewald, Grandchildren: Tina, Russell & Bradley, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Great grandchild.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 11am at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 7960 W. Northview St., Boise, ID. Interment to be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nampa, ID.
