Actress. She began her career in motion pictures at the age of three and would go on to appear in more than thirty films. Initially, she was billed "Baby Jane." She will be remembered for her roles in the "Our Gang" film series "The New Pupil" (1940) and "Going to Press" (1942). Additionally, she shared the screen with Spencer Tracy and Jean Harlow in "Riffraff" (1936) and Elizabeth Taylor in "National Velvet" (1944). She retired from acting and went on to serve as a nun. Later, she received a Bachelor's degree from Immaculate Heart College and a Master of Arts degree from San Francisco State University. She served as a professor of English in Pennsylvania. Her sister was actress Rita Quigley.
