Age 78, of Lake Park, Florida passed away suddenly Sunday Morning, December 26, 1999 at her residence. Mrs. Weigand was born March 22, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania daughter of the late Harry King and Kathryn Griffin. She had been a resident of the Palm Beaches for the past 22 years coming from Cleveland, Ohio. She was a head cashier at the old Riviera Beach Publix's retiring in 1990. She was a Volunteer at the West Palm Beach V.A. Hospital and was an active bowler with the old Riviera Beach Bowling League and presently with the Jupiter Bowling League. Mrs. Weigand was preceded in death by her husband John O. Weigand on September 3, 1988.
Mrs. Weigand leaves to cherish her loving memory to her devoted children Thomas Straw, Sr. of Ravenna, OH; Dorothy J. Waner and husband David of Royal Palm Beach, FL; her sister Mrs. Florence Gerulis of Pittsburgh, PA; her adored grandchildren Amanda, Thomas Jr., Karen Marie, Dale, and Scott.
The family will receive friends 12 Noon to service time Thursday, December 30, 1999 at the WM. N. HOWARD FUNERAL HOME, 754 U.S. Hwy #1, North Palm Beach where services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, West Palm Beach.
