Mrs. Rose Caroline Harmer, 24, died of a heart attack at 12:45 p.m. Sunday after collapsing at Western Avenue and Main street while on route downtown.
Born September 20, 1919, at Fort Dodge, Ia., a daughter of Clement and Veronica Blattner, she was married Jan. 27, 1944, to Pfc. Marvin L. Harmer at St. Paul's cathedral.
Beside her widower, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital at Walla Walla, Wash., Mrs. Harmer leaves two sisters, Mrs. Albert Heath of Milwaukee and Miss Cecelia Blattner of Chicago, her father Clement Blattner, city, and two brothers, Clement Jr., city and Pvt. Sylvaneon Blattner, Camp Cooke, California
Funeral services will be held at the Candlish chapel, with Dean E. P. Sabin, officiating. Burial will be in Rienzi cemetery. The day of the services has not been set pending word from Pfc. Harmer.
