He was born June 14, 1897, in the Town of Theresa, a son of the late Herman and Amelia Westphal Pribnow. He married Viola Schlegel on Oct. 7, 1913, in the Town of Theresa.
Mr. Pribnow was a retired Town of Theresa farmer, moving to Mayville in 1948 where he was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Armelda) Zahn of Mayville and Mrs. Walter (Esther) Zahn of Route 1, Lomira; a son Reuben of Route 1 Mayville, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother Alfred of Horicon.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Mayville. Pastor Galen Drawbaugh will officiate, and burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery, Mayville.
Visitation for Mr. Pribnow will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Koepsell Funeral Home and at the church from noon Tuesday until the time of services.
